I have been using Buck Bomb, "Deer Pee Fogger", for three years.
Buck Bomb makes cans of deer and coyote pee as well as scented attractants like, "Sugar Beet Smash" among others.
The products are pretty innovative in that they act the same way as a flea fogger bomb, only instead of insecticide the cans emit Pee. Traditional scent sprays waste a tremendous amount of product and of course Once you break the seal the scent instantly begins slowly turning to ammonia meaning that there is only a very short shelf.
Buck Bomb has overcome almost instant expiration date issue by making sure that O2 never comes into contact with the product. I use the, "Predator Bomb", for coyote traps and after last trapping season I had half a can left over. This past Summer I grabbed the leftover can on the way out the garage door and when i sprayed it on the bottom of my boots it still smelled like fresh pee...not ammonia.
There are two ways to dispense the can; you can lightly mash the button and only dispense a small amount on your boot soles or the bottom of a tree where you were attaching your climber. I also use it to spray random bushes on my way to my stand to cover my scent and attract whatever I am hunting. You can also lock the button down and set it on a stump to Fog the whole area if you want. It will automatically dispense the whole can at once in this mode.
Like anything there are bound to be failures. Here in Central Alabama it is the middle of January and our rut has just kicked off. I bought the last 2 cans of Buck Bomb, "Doe in Estrous", at Wal-Mart for $9.99 each and when I tried to use each can they both initially worked as expected but quickly ran out of air though the cans felt mostly full of liquid.
I didn't realize bot cans were duds so when the first one failed I layed it down in a scrape and shot it with my bow and forgot about it...'till the same thing happened with the last can. This time I called the customer service number and left a message when their voice mail picked up. It was with a sinking feeling of, "I just blew $19.98 on deer pee that I can't use", that I decided to send the company an email. I figured, "If they can't even answer the phone they sure as hell aint gonna reply to an email".
I was amazed that within 15 minutes I received an email from, "Sonja". She said she was sorry that I had issues and she would work to resolve my problems.
She asked if it was just the 2 cans that were duds and I answered that I probably had 2 cans fail every year but was just frustrated to have them tear up back to back like that.
That was two days ago. Imagine my surprise when I came in the house from a hunt tonight and found a box with 7 brand new cans delivered right to the door. This is less than 48 hours after I emailed them! WOW.
I am blown away. They have earned my respect and continued business.
